It’s a pretty common term in the equine industry—no matter the discipline, referring to owning the most fantastic horse ever. Essentially a dream horse. One who commands attention with its stunning coat and exquisite composition. A horse who is kindhearted, agile, and has a willingness to work in any discipline you choose.
A heart horse senses your emotions and ebbs and flows with your mental space. One who is so magnificent that life feels harmonious when you two are together. Many people ride their entire lives without knowing what it's like to have a once-in-a-lifetime horse who is your kindred spirit or soul mate. Of course, they dream. And hold out hope that someday they will have a horse that allows them to live out their biggest fantasy. Yet, sometimes, their desire only remains an aspiration.

For me, that wish came true back in 2018 when I had the opportunity to purchase the grandest horse I’ve ever laid my eyes on…A horse so distinctive and majestic, looking at him made me literally stop in awe. I thank God every day for my heart horse. A mighty stallion. Proudly standing at 16.1 hands with a coat, so black and muscles so defined, you could feel his presence in your bones. A horse who gave me his all…his heart, his soul, and determination. Together, we accomplished goals I never thought possible, my heart horse pushed me to be a better rider. He taught me how to elicit sophisticated steps and to have a soft, supple hand. My unicorn helped me master techniques and be fearless in the face of pressure. He taught me to never give up!
NOW, my greatest desire is to share my precious horse with you so your dreams can come true, too.

Horse of Kings
Camelio Ang II—PRE - Pura Raza Española or pure Spanish Horse (Andalusian) imported from Spain at age two. Bred by Francisco Angelet Catafal, Yeguada Hierro Del Ángel.
Camelio, Cam for short, is from the Carthusian line…A lineage protected by Carthusian Monks dating back to the 15th century. Also known as Hierro del Bocado.
Cam’s pedigree includes the famous lineage of Romero Benitez, Isabel Terry, and military horses. Breeders have cherished his extraordinary breeding and confirmation for centuries.
A Purebred Spanish Horse is considered as such if and when it is registered in the PRE Stud Book, managed by ANCCE, to thus participate in the Breeding Program. The PRE Stud Book is the body that issues Equine Identification Documents (EID) for all Purebred Spanish Horses in the world (ANCEE Stud Book).
A Bit of History
The Andalusian horse originated in and gained its name from the Spanish province of Andalusia. Its ancestors are the Iberian horses of Spain and Portugal. Less than 60 years ago, the distinction was made between an Andalusian and a Lusitano horse. The Spanish now refer to their horses as Pura Raza Espanola (Pure Spanish Horse or PRE) and keep their studbook. In much of the world, this horse is now referred to as the Andalusian (International Museum of the Horse/Andalusian). These elegant movers are known for their prized nobility and called “mobile thrones” because they’ve transported royalty under saddle and pulled carriages throughout history, including the Spanish Government and kings and queens across Europe. Their significant joint flexion made them dependable warhorses, known for their agility and speed. You’d be hard-pressed to find any other equine breed with such controlled power and fierceness. With a heart willing to work and be one with his rider. The mount of choice for some of the greatest warriors this world has ever seen.
Over centuries, these noble Spanish horses with unparalleled versatility and athleticism made an excellent choice for any riding style; Dressage. Driving. Bullfighting. Jumping. Cattle sorting. Parades and Demonstrations. Known as forward-moving mounts, they are well-balanced, well-mannered, docile, responsive, and obedient, with a predisposition for collection and rhythmic movement.

Strength, beauty, functionality, and grandeur are the classic features that characterize this grand PRE revised homozygous black stallion. Cam has straight corrected gaits, harmonious and supple movement, and a calm and focused work ethic. What sets him apart from all others is his temperament, love for people, and eagerness for the task at hand. This versatile equine is highly intelligent and EASILY transitions from a dressage arena to bareback on the trails to working cattle or swimming in the lake. Cam participates in parades, community events, and demonstrations while remaining composed and well-mannered. Everywhere we go, Cam draws people in with his grace, presence, and personable disposition.
He completed both 1st and 2nd levels. Scoring an 81% in Material 4&5 Year Old Stallion Class by and FEI 3* Judge. In 2014 he earned Reserve Champion for USPRE All Breeds at Training Level. This impressive stallion has genuinely stepped into greatness! Stealing hearts and titles everywhere he goes. He won the IALHA Grand Champion Andalusian, Overall Grand Champion Halter horse, and Overall Grand Champion horse for the Classical Iberian Show in the 2021 season.
